Panera is supposedly known for having fresher ingredients and being a fast food bakery and cafe. But many agree that the food is overrated and is more like overpriced hospital cafeteria food.

Sonic

Being served through the window of your car is a pretty cool party trick. But Sonic doesn’t seem to make the grade in people’s minds. The food has been called substandard and “food-like.” Maybe just stick to the tots or slush if heading to Sonic soon. 

KFC

In the 90s-00s KFC seems to be the chicken king. Since those glory years, it has become the joker of the fast food court. Many joked that the employees don’t know how to use a fryer, and others said that KFC out of the USA is actually way better! 

Chick-fil-A

No one could flat-out say they didn’t like Chick-fil-a. But many agreed that the chicken sandwich is just a step above many other fast food joints. They also said that there was no reason for the drive-thru to be wrapped around the building twice. It’s good, just not that good.

5 Guys

If you have never been to 5 Guys, you probably wouldn’t know that their walls are covered in magazine and newspaper articles that state they have the best burgers or fries around. If you look closer, you’ll notice many of those articles were written more than ten years ago! 5 Guys has fallen, and it’s not because of their food. This place is way too expensive!

The reason Whataburger is so overrated is simple. The prices went up, and the quality went down. One eater said that the quality is location specific but really no one believes that.

Everyone loves a good slice of pizza. Sbarro doesn’t seem to be anyone’s favorite. People seem to be nostalgic towards Sbarro because of their teenage years. White Castle is a burger place people often hit up after a night out and some alcoholic beverages. They have now made their way into grocery stores selling their burgers frozen in a box for shoppers to enjoy at home. Their frozen burgers are better than their in-restaurant ones.

A very surprising name to make this list because it seems as though there is always a long drive-thru line. But people are a little upset about their prices. Many are paying almost $3 for a single taco. This would be fine if the tacos had the works. But that single taco only has beef, cheese, and lettuce!
