To start, a user replied, “Grease.” I love the songs and music and all, but the message at the end always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. “Sure, I’ll change everything for you so you and your friends will have an easier time accepting me!”

One comment was, “I’ve never understood what is so great about the Mona Lisa.”

Another comment was, “TIL the Mona Lisa is the Kim Kardashian of art.”

A very angry person wrote, “ Shirly Temple. I hate HER JUST UGHH AHHHH.”

Another angry person added, “I REALLY HATE THAT GIRL TOOOO! MY GRANDMA MADE ME WATCH THOSE SULLY MOVIES!”

Hit Me With Your Best Shot

A reply was, “The song “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.” I feel like ramming ice picks in my ears whenever that song comes on the radio.”

A second reply was, “People actually like that song?? I mean, I’m sure it wasn’t that TERRIBLE when it was first released, but then the SWIFFER COMMERCIALS. I want to cut my ears off with the canines of the toddlers that have died due to that song.”

A Separate Peace

One user commented, “That silly dangd book was so boring. And it was like the 8th WWII era book I read in 8th grade. And Phineas’ death was the most random, most convoluted messed up of modern medicine I’d ever heard.”

Another user added, “I hated that book in high school. When I read it again in college, it was like a whole new book–Gene is in love with Finny. Suddenly it became all tragic and heartbreaking.”

Radiohead

A person shared, “Radiohead. I just can’t seem to give a shoot about Radiohead. I don’t dislike them, but I don’t like them either.”

One reply was, “Moby D. I feel like half the book is a silly manual on whaling. I don’t care about whaling. Just tell me about Ahab and the white whale!’

Friends

A surprising comment was, “Friends. Most one-dimensional, self-obsessed, irritating characters I’ve ever seen on a TV show. God, just thinking of the blatant overacting and bland characters just makes me cringe. Phoebe and Joey come to mind as by far the worst. In fact, no fudge it. They all get on my dang nerves. What people saw in that dang show, I don’t know.”

Another comment was, “You are 100% right, and I agree with you, but I still enjoy watching the show when it’s on. It’s mindless fun.”

Scarlet Letter

A user wrote, “This is the one book I honestly don’t remember reading. I found my test on it, and I only missed two questions, but I could almost swear I never read the book.”

A second user replied, “I “had to” read that for English class in 10th grade. I read the first chapter before putting it down for good, but we watched the movie and talked about it in class a lot, so I still got an A.”

Bon Jovi

One comment said, “Bon Jovi. I don’t know what it is about that band, but I simply cannot stand listening to their music.”

Another comment said, “Wait, is Bon Jovi considered classic? I hope not.”

Monopoly

A person shared, “I hate Monopoly.”

After that, a person said, “Even with the real rules, it’s not great. Most people I’ve played with are extremely reluctant to trade/sell properties, which, combined with just how serious people take the game, makes it a miserable play.”

Catcher in the Rye

A response was, “Catcher in the Rye. What a pretentious piece of shoot. It was painful to read when I was 16, and it was even more painful to read when I was 24, thinking it might have gotten better. It didn’t.”

Titanic

One user said, “Titanic fudging stinks.”

Another user added, “Hey! That scene where the guy hits the propeller made that movie the classic it is today. Seriously though, that was the only part of the movie I enjoyed, and I was the only person in the theater laughing out loud at that part. Made everyone I was with embarrassed because of how loud I was laughing.”

Don’t Stop Believing

A reply was, “I’m sick of Don’t Stop Believing by Journey. I love a lot of their other songs, but I’ve heard it so many times that when I hear it now, I want to drink that weird liquid the Engineer drinks at the beginning of Prometheus and let my body disintegrate at the bottom of a large body of water.”

Hotel California

Finally, someone said, “Hotel California. God, I hate that fudging song.”
Someone else added, “My parents told me that when I was younger, I used to listen to that song so much it made their ears bleed. I still love that song.”
