Some things are only popular because of the Baby Boomer Generation. Whether it’s something they constantly buy or constantly do or say, the popularity is because of this generation. Recently a question was asked that read, “What are things that will “die out” or become significantly less popular when the baby boomer generation is no longer around?”

One Redditor commented, “China cabinets. I’m gen X and was strongly encouraged by my family to put china on my wedding registry long ago. I resorted my china to make room for my liquor now that my son was of age. Now I have a China and Liquor Cabinet.”
