12 AWFULLY Unattractive Fashion Choices Women CAN’T STAND Men Wearing

Fashion trends come and go but sometimes people have a hard time letting them go.

Recently someone asked Reddit, “What is the most unattractive fashion choice men frequently make?” Over 11,000 women responded to deliver this list of clothing styles they find unattractive in men.

1. Camouflage

Camouflage has become a prevalent trend beyond the hunt. However, some women find it unappealing. One woman joked, “Men wear too much camouflage. What’s the point of dressing that way? I can’t even see you.”

2. “Funny” Graphic T-Shirts

Graphic t-shirts with objectively funny or inappropriate quotes were a common turn-off among female Redditors.

Many noted their experiences with men defending ignorant or homophobic “jokes” displayed on them. You might have the freedom of speech, but these women would prefer you keep it off your shirt.

3. Skinny Jeans

One woman explained, “When my friend’s husband divorced, he bought an entire wardrobe of clothes two or three sizes too small, most notably, his skinny jeans.

These jeans did not fit in any of the right places, and everyone could tell he could hardly breathe. After that, some of the husbands attempted to follow suit until their wive’s stopped them.”

4. Baggy Jeans

Similarly, another confessed, “Loose jeans are just as bad as tight. Some men in my life prefer to have their jeans so loose that they constantly fall below the man’s waist.

They wear gym shorts underneath, so at least I’m not usually seeing their underwear. Still, you can get a belt. I can’t see that as attractive.”

5. Tight and Saggy Combination Jeans

The worst is when the jeans are sagging below the waist but still too tight to walk in. One noted, “I hate when men wear both saggy and tight jeans. The person wearing them has to hold them by the belt buckle and walk like a penguin. How is this attractive?”

Another agreed, “There is zero attractiveness in that ridiculous shuffle they do while trying to hold their pants up while they walk. Please stop it. Pull up your pants.”

6. Grooming Habits

“Fashion starts with good grooming habits,” one suggested. “If a man has a greasy beard or hair, then it doesn’t matter what they’re wearing. Many men are taught while they’re growing up that self-care is feminine, but everyone needs it.”

7. Shoes Without Socks

Shoes without socks are a pet peeve for women throughout the world. For example, someone from the U.K. wrote, “Around here, people wear their loafers with no socks, and not only does it look ridiculous, but I can also smell your feet from here.” Many agreed that the smell is much worse than someone who typically wears socks.

8. Bulky Shirts

Sizing is a hot topic in most countries because it’s hard to find the right fit, and women also recognize that men face the struggle. Many agree that it is not attractive when men wear shirts that are a few sizes too big or small because it doesn’t fit right.

Someone advised that when you are in between two sizes, you should try the slim fit of the larger size. It might change the way you buy clothes permanently.

Another suggested, “getting clothes tailored is probably a lot cheaper than you think. Typically, it’s in the $5-$20 range for simple stuff like bringing the waist in and hemming. It’s cheaper than buying a new shirt or pants.”

9.  Dirty Baseball Hats

Some men love their baseball hats, so much so that they wear them from thirteen into their late thirties. One woman implied, “So many men in my hometown never grew out of their middle school style in dusty baseball hats that they never took off.

Those hats are full of sweat, dirt, and so much bacteria. I wouldn’t even touch one. Hopefully, I can find someone without a hat when I move.”

10. Polo Shirts With The Logo

Men who flaunt their polo shirts prove to be these Reddit women’s worst nightmare. One confessed, “I went to school with many wealthier guys who always tried to prove it with their polo shirts and khakis. Don’t get me wrong, that’s a great look for a country club, but it’s not all that attractive in school.”

11. Too Much Jewelry

“Too much jewelry is very unattractive on a man. Someone I saw on the street was wearing two chunky gold watches, bracelets, rings, and several gold chains. He looked ridiculous. Fashion doesn’t come from throwing everything together,” answered another.

12. Ill-Fitting Jackets

Finally, one volunteered, “Ill-fitting jackets are the bane of men’s existence. A big jacket isn’t going to make your muscles look bigger. It’s going to make you look like a boy who borrowed his father’s jacket,” explains one person.
