Supermodel Bella Hadid has always been a supportive and loving sister and she has shown these qualities once again as she has taken to Instagram to praise her older sister on how she juggles motherhood with her career.
Gigi has recently been announced as the new host of the Netflix series Next In Fashion. The series puts several budding fashion designers in a competition against each other, with one winner being announced at the end of it.

In season one, the winner took home a prize of $250,000 and the opportunity to sell their designs on Net-A-Porter. The show was so popular that fan demand ensured it was renewed for a second season despite Netflix originally canceling it.
With the show premiering on Netflix on the 3rd of March, Bella shared a post to promote it. Within the post, her sister Gigi featured heavily as the host. Alongside the post was a caption from Bella which read:
“So proud of my sister. It’s literally a dream come true to see her shine so bright!! I love you jelly!!! So much hard work was put into this while raising a daughter with ease. What a blessing to watch! #proudsisss”

Bella followed up the gushing post on her Instagram by sharing more pictures of her sister in action as host of the season with a caption reading “she’s frickin’ cute doing it too”.
Gigi the Mother
Gigi gave birth to her first and only child, Khai, in September 2020. While she raised her daughter alongside Khai’s father, Zayn Malik, for the first year of her life the pair split up in October 2021 after an incident involving Gigi’s mother, Yolanda.
Ever since then, Gigi and Zayn have been co-parenting Khai with both of them still finding time to have individual success in their respective careers.
Gigi has a great relationship with her sister, Bella, and she has seemingly leaned on her for support since becoming a Mother. Bella often shares pictures of Khai on her social media and Gigi labeled her sister as Khai’s “forever protector” in a social media post for her 25th birthday.

The Hadids are evidently very close and their mother, Yolanda, has also recently been in the media praising her daughter for how she has taken to motherhood. Speaking to People magazine in October she said:
“Gigi is a phenomenal mother. She’s so good and so devoted. She’s incredible with her baby and that, as a mom, is a beautiful thing to see.”
Balancing Motherhood with your Career
While for celebrities like Gigi Hadid, the prospect of balancing career aspirations with motherhood is probably an easier task than it is for the majority of women around the world, she still deserves praise for how she is going about it.
Too many times, women are forced into putting their career prospects on hold to look after their children while men get to go out and continue on their career paths. Sure, Gigi is in a position where she can afford all the childcare in the world, but it’s great to see that she is still taking on so many positive projects in her career.
