Has Rihanna just revealed the sex of her second baby during a shopping spree with A$AP Rocky?

It seems crazy that it is now almost a year since Rihanna gave birth to her first child. The international megastar is now a proud mother to an eleven-month-old son, but neither she nor her partner A$AP Rocky has revealed his name. 

Another secret that Rihanna has been keeping from the press is the sex of her second child. At the Superbowl in January, where she delivered a performance for the ages at half-time, the “Umbrella” hitmaker revealed that she was pregnant again, which has prompted widespread speculation about the pregnancy.

How many months pregnant is she? Will she reveal the name of both her children when #2 is born? Does she know the sex of her unborn child? While ultimately, the answers to these questions will remain unknown until Rihanna and A$AP Rocky decide to tell the world, she may have given the biggest clue yet as to what baby #2’s sex is. 

On a recent shopping trip with her partner, Rihanna was spotted browsing pink baby clothes, suggesting that she is expecting to give birth to a baby girl later this year. 

While a daughter would be nice so that she and Rocky can have “one of each”, it is unlikely that the pair will stop at just two children, with Rihanna admitting in a recent interview that she wants at least “four or five” children. 

Is she playing with the press?

While the sight of Rihanna looking through pink rompers and dresses has got fans excited about the prospect of a mini version of the pop star, there is a possibility that she was playing games with the paparazzi. 

Considering the attention that is on her, it is likely that she was aware of the photographers taking the snaps, so she may well have decided to play tricks on them. It wouldn’t be the first time that she has made such a move, as she was also spotted shopping for pink baby clothes during her first pregnancy. 

There is also the possibility that she was simply picking something out for a pregnant friend. Rihanna is known to have a close-knit circle of friends, so if one of these friends is pregnant, then she could have simply been looking for a gift to buy them. 

Does Rihanna know even know the sex of her baby?

Rihanna hasn’t revealed whether she knows the sex of her second baby, however in an interview with Vogue in February, she admitted to finding out the sex of her first child before he was born. She said:

“Rocky wanted to know, he wanted a boy. At first, he was open, then he was like ‘Nah, I want a boy, I’m sure’. I was just like, ‘Lord, please let this man get what he wants.”

In the same interview, she also confessed to not being bothered about the sex of any future children, saying that she is “down for whatever” and that her only wish is to have more kids and will be happy with “whatever God wants for me”.
