10. Jill Taylor

Jill Taylor from Home Improvement is a loving mother to three sons and wife to Tim the Tool Man Taylor. She is the common sense and voice of reason in the relationship, as Tim often behaves like a teenage boy.

While the early seasons showcase Jill being a caring matriarch and homemaker, she evolves into going back to school to get her psychology degree. 

9. Peggy Bundy

Peggy Bundy from Married With Children is a lazy stay-at-home mom who refuses to cook and clean for her family. However, she genuinely loves her family, and despite her backhanded comments and insults, she tries to care for them.

Despite no long-time career, Peggy dabbled in jobs, including a Mary Bright consultant, fast food employee, and department store sales clerk. 

8. Clair Huxtable

Clair Huxtable from The Cosby Show is a groundbreaking television mom. She is always loving, honest, brilliant, and nurturing to her husband, five children, siblings, and extended family.

Morticia Addams from The Addams Family is an unusual mother with a sexy gothic look and low voice. She is intelligent and devoted to her adoring husband, Gomez, and kids, Wednesday and Pugsley.

Her favorite activities include cutting the rose buds off the stems, discarding them, and feeding her carnivorous plant, Cleopatra.
