10 Dumbest Reasons Women Have Been Given for Being Dumped

Oh boy. Have you ever been given a ridiculous reason for being dumped? While scrolling through a popular online forum for women, I found an interesting conversation about the dumbest reasons women heard when someone broke up with them. Here are some of the worst.

1. Arranged Marriage

Okay, the number-one-voted answer is insane. One woman explained that the guy she was seeing took a holiday and got an arranged marriage. They had been together for a couple of years, and she had an engagement ring!

Also, she didn’t even find out from him. He was a coward and went along with his parents. Sadly, a few Indian women shared similar experiences.

2. Lent

This one may take the cake, or would it be sacramental bread? One woman admitted that she was honestly “given up” on Lent. Someone explained that Lent is when Catholics and Lutherans abstain for 40 days from certain pleasures for Jesus and his sacrifice 46 days before Easter.

3. Changing Diapers Is Too Much

Another woman confessed that she told the guy she was getting serious with that he would help with childcare if they had kids.

So he broke up with her because changing the occasional diaper was too much for him. He wanted a traditional role relationship and decided she wasn’t the one. However, she knows she dodged a bullet there.

4. Thong Underwear

Thong underwear was the cause of one woman’s breakup. She was told that because she started wearing thong underwear, it was apparent she was going to cheat. So he broke up with her.

5. Modern Medicine

Not believing in modern medicine like vaccines caused this woman to be dumped. However, she was grateful it was before COVID hit because he would have been insufferable.

Another agreed and suggested it would be terrible fighting with your spouse about holistic medicine, big pharma, and vaccinations, especially with kids.

6. Comforting a Friend

Another woman admitted she consoled a friend grieving his mother’s advancing Alzheimer’s. She rubbed his back and arm while he confided in her.

Her ex didn’t like it and suggested that if she did that in front of him, he couldn’t imagine all the ways she was embarrassing herself and degrading their relationship behind his back and that she was untrustworthy and “seeks attention because my daddy didn’t love me.”

7. You Deserve Someone Better

One man told a woman that she deserved better than someone like him. She expressed she was looking for better and was content with him.

Another explained hearing the same thing and understanding it means he’s not WILLING to give her what he knows she deserves. “So believe them when they say that.”

8. Don’t Believe in God

Many women shared the experience of being dumped for their lack of faith in God. One elaborated that she had been dumped “three times for Jesus.”

Others warned that Christians shouldn’t date non-Christians because all they do is attempt to convert them. It’s a toxic relationship dynamic, especially for the woman who was told she was “going to hell.”

9. Cancer

One woman shared her cancer survival story. She stated that she and her partner had been dating for a short time when she was diagnosed. He stayed with her through treatment and surgery and spent five years together.

However, one day he broke up with her because he couldn’t bear the thought of her getting cancer again and decided not to deal with it.

10. Hair Cut

Why do men think they have any say over what we do to our hair? Urg, this one is too common. One lady explained she cut her very long hair into an above-the-shoulder bob. She was sixteen and was dumped immediately by email.
