Blow Torched a Computer
One Redditor has this to share, “dude casually blowtorched my computer monitor just to see how I’d react. I took away his lighter and body spray and said he could have them back when leaving.”
Started Making Bread
Another user said, “Opened a box with a new bread maker I had purchased without asking and started making bread in the middle of a party.”
Took a Bath
While another Redditor shared this cringy memory, “My sister-in-law took a bath, but then left the bathwater in the tub, “in case anyone else wants to take a bath too.”
Lunch Time Manners Are No More
Another Redditor recalled a memory from childhood by saying, “When we were kids, a new kid came to my house for lunch and an afternoon playdate. He refused to eat literally anything that could be prepared (pasta, meat, fish, vegetables, etc), with the exception of a block of cheese. He desperately wanted a large block of cheese. He was given one, and he took one bite out of it, and then left it there. After lunch, he laid down in the corridor for basically the entire afternoon. It was a strange affair.”
Moved Things Around and Rearrange Furniture
This user opted for revenge and said, “Moved my stuff and didn’t tell me where she put it or that she moved it. My mother-in-law was helping us clean out our spare bedroom for our forthcoming baby. She stuffed things into closets, and I’m sure I haven’t found all of them to this day, almost a year later. Since then, when we’ve gone to her house, I pick a couple of items to move to where they don’t belong so she can drive herself bonkers looking for her stuff, too.”
Another user said, “A couple that was staying with us for a few days rearranged our furniture and artwork while we were at our jobs. They were surprised when we returned home and were not approving of what they had done.”
Hitting On The Homeowners
A Redditor shared this interaction, “Made a pass at my wife.”
Complaining
One Redditor said, “Complained about lack of free liquor choices while drinking my beers.”
