Stay Hydrated
Water is not just for plants. Humans need it to survive, and you can easily see and feel a difference when you drink water regularly. People report having fewer headaches, being less cranky/achy, and their skin has more of a glow to it.
Eat the Rainbow
Try eating a variety of fruits and vegetables each week. Red (tomatoes, bell peppers, etc.), orange/yellow (bananas, squash, sweet potato, oranges, etc.), green (broccoli, kale, beans, avocado, kiwi, etc.), blue/purple (berries, grapes, eggplant, etc.), and white/brown (cauliflower, mushrooms, coconut, etc.). They all have so many benefits to eating a variety of colors.
Get Enough Sleep
Your body needs sleep, and without it, you’re going to look older, tired, and unhealthy. Try to get a good night’s rest. One sleep connoisseur said to try and set a bedtime for yourself and stick to it. That will make your sleeping habits improve.
Wash Your Pillowcases Frequently
Ensuring you wash your pillowcases will help keep your skin clear and your hair less greasy. If you have curly or straight hair, try out a satin pillowcase. Your hair, no matter what texture, shape, etc., is ruined by cotton.
Go To The Dentist Regularly
Brush your teeth, floss your teeth, and go to the dentist. Your teeth are some of the most important, and your smile has been proven to make you more attractive to potential partners. Over 47% of adults over thirty have some form of gum disease, which is no joke. Try to prevent it if you can.
Lotion
Use lotion every day and everywhere after you shower. Lotioning damp skin is best because it helps bring the moisture of your shower into your skin to help hydrate it as well. The lotion will give your skin a healthy glow all year long.
Wear Sunscreen
Along the same lines as lotion, ensure you wear SPF every day in the middle of winter or the summer. SPF helps keep skin cancer at bay, and it will help prevent premature skin aging caused by the sun, including wrinkles, sagging, and age spots.
Take Probiotics
Probiotics have many benefits, including helping to restore the balance in your gut They’ve been shown to secrete protective substances, which may turn on the immune system and prevent pathogens from taking hold and creating major diseases. One person who recommended probiotics also said their skin improved greatly, and they often get compliments on the look of their skin since taking them.
Care, Less
As a society, we care too much about what other people think of us and their opinion of our lifestyle choices. Try caring a little less about what others think of you, whether they are family or not. Life is too short to try and please others, and you will miss great opportunities if you care about others.
Do More of What Makes You Happy
This one can be summed up in pretty much one sentence. Do what makes you happy. If you are happier you are gonna enjoy life more and be healthier. Do not think just because someone else is unhappy means, you must be unhappy too.
Move Your Body
Doctors and health professionals always suggest getting at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. It’s more than just having a healthy body, though. One person reported fitness has improved in other areas like eating healthy, drinking enough water, stretching, making new friends, having a sharper mind, reduced alcohol consumption, better mood, and sleep, etc
Cut Out Alcohol
Try cutting alcohol out of your life. Going out for drinks with friends or coworkers is a lot of fun after a long workday or workweek. But, there are many health benefits to not drinking. Many non-drinkers have reported losing weight, sleeping better, clearer skin, and even more energy.
Aquaphor
Start using Aquaphor for everything! Chapped lips, chapped skin, cuts, scrapes, burns. One doctor even said during their residency, they did some time with burn victims, and the doctors and nurses didn’t use Neosporin or burn cream. They gobbed on Aquaphor!
Cold Rinses
Finally, cold rinses for hair. Hairstylists totally agree on this. A cold rinse at the end of the shower can do amazing things for your hair. It is can leave hair stronger, shinier, bouncier and healthier, and works by laying your hair cuticle flat.
