As we age, we learn about secrets that were kept by family members, and we also begin to reflect on the way we grew up. Many times due to secrets and reflection on our youth, relationships become strained, and communication becomes difficult. As a result of this, we may begin to hide things that we don’t want our family to know for fear of retaliation or fear that the truth may hurt them.
