What do people obsess over and let it take over their entire identity? We’ve got some pretty good ones listed here.
“Their children. Don’t get me wrong; you love your kid. That’s fantastic! But when it’s literally the ONLY THING you EVER talk about, it becomes extremely obnoxious. Then you have people who lose almost all personality and just become “mom” or “dad.”
“Adults who love Disney.” Another added, “I like Disneyland a lot; I’m definitely a fan. Also a really big fan of Donald Duck. But then there’s the cult crowd; yeah they base their entire existence on Disney.”
Does motherhood consume you? Have you lost your identity?
“Fitness, gym and diets.”
“Weed. Stoners can be a right PITA.”
“Any politics, mate. Your absence of personality isn’t exempt here either.”
“Adhd. Like, who tf isn’t these days, we get it.”
“Elaborate beards or mustaches.”
“Zodiac and astrology,” another agreed. “Astrological signs”
“Tv shows. To the point where everything is seen through that lens. Eg. ‘superfans’ of Friends”
“Being blunt, aka always rude about telling people things because everyone are such snowflakes.”
