Know that This Stage Will Pass

There are plenty of stages in life that are hard but we need to remember and accept that they do end. This stage will pass, it does not last forever even though somedays it might feel that way. Take a breath and remember this stage is temporary and you will get through it.

Review Your To-Do List and Prioritize It

Keeping a daily to-do list can be a big help. Make sure you have a good system for planning out your daily life and remember to prioritize your to-do list based on priority. Have a weekly plan and a daily plan so you can fit in what needs to be done and prioritize your daily to-do list accordingly.

Schedule Some Time for Yourself

Self-care is important and you need to schedule it for yourself. Even if you have to wait until you’ve put the kids to bed be sure you’re taking some time for yourself each and every day. You cannot show up as the best version of ourself if you’re struggling and not taking care of yourself.

Ask for Help

This is a hard one for some moms but it’s ok to ask for help. Tell your partner what you need, call a friend or call a relative and ask for help. I’m going to tell you this again. It’s ok to ask for help and you should as for help. There is nothing wrong with asking for help.

Work on Your Mindset

This is so important. If you are constantly thinking about the struggle and filling your mind with thoughts of despair, sadness, etc you are doing yourself no good. I know it can be hard to switch our thoughts but they are so important and can change your life.
