How to Get Motivated for Monday
Sometimes having a good routine will help you feel motivated on Monday mornings. If you are well-rested, fueled, and less stressed you’ll see that Monday isn’t that bad. Here is something you can do to feel ready to go Monday morning.
Get Enough Sleep
Getting enough sleep at night is very important and helps you physically and mentally. This is when your body repairs itself. As per Sleep Health.org it’s estimated that sleep problems affect in 50 to 70 million Americans.
Implement a Mindset Journal into Your Morning Routine
The key to having a positive mindset is starting off the day on a positive note. I love using my mindset journal because it guides me to practice some great mindset habits and it only takes me 5 minutes.
Each morning write out 5 things you’re grateful for, write out an I am affirmations, your desires, and your to-do list for the day.
This is a great routine to have to get your mind thinking positively first thing in the morning which will increase your ability to have a great day.
Move Your Body
We know that there are many benefits to moving your body for at least 20 minutes a day. Some of these benefits found include reducing stress, helping move emotions through the body, strengthening the connection we have to our bodies. You can read more about these benefits here.
Consume Positive Content
If you consume positive content then you’re more likely to feel happier. What you see and hear around you on a daily basis influences how you feel and what you think about all day. Try your best to remove negativity from your life, find resources that you know will be positive for you. follow accounts on social media that you know are positive like @motherhoodlifebalance on Instagram (shameless plug)
